Our braille and tactile signs are designed to aid those with visual impairments by coinciding with the standards set by the Disabilities Discrimination Act.
Our signage is custom made to size, shape and is available in a wide range of colours. These signs are tough, durable and suitable for Indoor and Outdoor applications. We can provide braille signage for almost any purpose.
Braille
By using braille beads on a textured sign our signage offers assistance for the 20,000 Braille users in the UK and for those with visual impairments. Our Braille signs are custom made to a high standard and we can even convert your text in to braille format if necessary.
Tactile
Our Tactile signs are made of two layers of contrasting coloured material, where one layer makes up the detail of the sign. The detail on the sign is raised so that it is noticeable by touch and easier to see. The contrasting colours on the sign improve visibility, making the detail clearer.
The Disability Discrimination Act
There are over 20,000 braille users and over two million people with sight related disabilities in the UK. The government have put an act in place to ensure that those with disabilities are not discriminated against when trying to access goods, when in employment or during education. Our braille signs coincide with the Disability Discrimination Acts standards set by the government.

Specifications
Braille and tactile signs are 2.4mm thick (base layer is 1.6mm and the detail is 0.8mm thick) and are available in a variety sizes ranging up to 240mm x 100mm.
